 标题:I’d like some noodles

 授课时间:45分钟

 授课对象:七年级学生

 教学目的:

 Let students learn the knowledge about countable nouns and uncountable nouns like apples, potatoes, beef, mutton, chicken, cabbage.

 Let students know how to order food by using the following structures: What kind of ... would you like? I’d / I would like…. What size bowl of ... would he like ? He’d / He would like a small / medium / large bowl of...

 Let students know the differences between Chinese and western food.

 教学手段: PPT, blackboard, chalk, computer

 教学方法:讲授法,讨论法,情景教学法

 教学步骤:

 Step 1: Lead-in (3’)

 Ask students what they have eaten at lunch / breakfast.

 Step 2: New words. (5’)

 Let students read after the teacher: noodles, beef, mutton, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes. Hello, I’d like ...

 Step 3: Language points. (15’)

 Firstly, teach students how to order food in English. For example: Hello, I’d like some noodles.

  What kind of noodles would you like?

  Beef and tomato noodles please.

  Tell them the differences between Chinese and western food.

 Then, show them different countries’ food in slides.

 Step 4: Practice. (20’)

  Let students play roles as waiters and customers with their partners by using following sentences:

  Q: What kind of ... would you like?

  A: I’d / I would like….

  Q: What size bowl of ... would he like ?

  A: He’d / He would like a small / medium / large bowl of...

 Then let students show their conversations in front of the class.

 (2) Play listening material and let students do the exercise 2a and 2b in page 48.

 Step 5: Homework. (2’)

 Read the text and remember new words. Ask them to share they favorite dish next class.

 自我评价:

  本节课通过询问学生早餐或午餐吃了什么把学生的注意力引入课堂,能够提高学生的学习兴趣。其次教学生他们所吃的食物的英语表达,再用幻灯片进行教学更加直观明了,然后我再对知识点进行逐一讲解,使学生进一步了解掌握可数名词与不可数名词,我还通过角色扮演练习句型和播放听力的方式使学生巩固所学的知识,玩中带学更加轻松化。最后布置家庭作业让学生独立完成。通过本单元的学习,想让学生掌握知识点的同时又能了解其他国家的饮食文化。
